2) The submissions deadline for the Spring 2024 issue is Sunday 31st March (end of Week 10)

3) We accept all original work that has some connection to science fiction or fantasy. This includes, but is not limited to: prose, poetry, RPG material, traditional and digital artwork, comics, sculpture, crafts, videos, reviews, opinion or discussion articles. If in doubt, just ask us

Written Work:

4) All written work should be submitted in .doc or .odt format

​

5) Please use 11-point, single spaced Calibri font

​

6) Use blank lines between paragraphs, not indents. Use a single asterik (*) for breaks in the story

​

7) The word limit for fiction is approximately 10,000 words. The limit for non-fiction is approximately 5,000 words

​

8) Please indicate if you are writing in a dialect/vernacular or have made stylistic grammatical choices so we do not wrongly correct those when making editing suggestions

​

9) We cannot accept fanfiction unless the original work is out of copyright in the UK - generally copyright expires 70 years after the death of the author, but please check this before submitting

​

10) The first fiction submission we receive will be illustrated by our cover artist

​

Visual Work:

11) Sign and date visual work where possible

​

12) Scan non-digital work where possible. Photographs are acceptable for 3-D work

​

13) Please provide an image description for your submissions. If you do not feel confident writing an image description, please provide details on the medium of the piece so we can write one for you. There are many guides to writing image descriptions available online, such as those linked below:
